    This is a 4ft (48 inch) T8 UVB fluorescent tube from Reptile One, commonly used in medium to large reptile enclosures.

    Setup notes

    • Must be used with a T8 fitting/reflector hood
    • Best positioned 30–35 cm above basking area
    • Replace every 6–12 months (UV output drops over time)
    • Works best with open or mesh-top enclosures (less UV blocking)

    Important

    • Mesh lids can reduce UVB output
    • Needs proper basking + shaded areas in tank
    • Not a heat lamp (UVB is separate from heating)
