    Description

    Sera Filter Wool 500g is a fine mechanical filter media (filter floss) used in aquarium filters.

    It is a bundle of strong synthetic fibers (polyester filter wool) designed to trap very fine dirt particles in aquarium water.

    What it does

    • Removes fine waste particles (fish poop, uneaten food, dust)
    • Improves water clarity (“polishing effect”)
    • Protects biological media by catching debris before it clogs them
    • Works as the final stage of mechanical filtration

    • Suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums
    • Can be used in internal, external, and hang-on filters
    • Reusable (can be rinsed and cleaned several times)
    • Does not break down easily or collapse in water flow

    How to use

    • Place it as the last layer in your filter
    • Rinse with clean water before first use
    • Replace or rinse when it becomes dirty or clogged
    • Clean gently using aquarium water (not strong tap pressure if possible)

    To keep your clothes fresh and clean, simply refresh them and gently wipe with a cloth or clothing brush. This is a more delicate process for fabrics and helps avoid water and energy consumption from washing.
